Appeal Against Calum Woods Dismissal
Monday, 15th Mar 2010Calum Woods will be available for tonights game against Raith Rovers after the appeal was referred to a review panel
Following an appeal by the Club against the red card shown to Calum Woods on Saturday in the match against Queen of the South, the SFA has confirmed that the referee on reviewing new evidence has accepted that there is sufficient justification for the sending off incident to be referred to a review panel who will either reduce the red card to a yellow card or remove altogether, any disciplinary action. As a result, Calum is available for selection for tonight's game against Raith Rovers.
DAFC appealed on Monday 15th March against the red card shown to Calum Woods during the match on Saturday 13th March 2010 against Queen of the South. Calum was shown a red card by referee Steven Nicholls in the 88th minute after a challenge on David Weatherston.
