Jim McIntyre felt that the Pars just didn't compete for a period of 35 minutes.
"We didn't compete enough, we didn't pass the ball well. The final ten minutes of the first half we started to pass it and put them under a bit of pressure. We had a few words at half time and said it wasn't good enough. They knew that themselves. We came out for the second half and we started to do what we are good at - passing and moving and passing it with a tempo and with a sharpness. Once we started doing that then I felt we dominated possession. We were putting some great balls into the box but we weren't getting enough people on the end of them.
Asked if he thought they were never going to score:-
"The longer the game goes on you start to think that but the pressure we were having we were hopeful of getting a goal and then another one but it wasn't to be. I was really pleased with the players reaction to what we said at half time. They showed plenty of character.
"Andy Kirk has a bad injury, he could be out for 4 to 6 weeks. He has done his ankle and it's badly swollen, so that's a real blow. He rolled his ankle and took a kick on the other side and its just rocked his leg. That is going to be a big blow. Cardle has a slight hamstring so we will just need to see how he is and he will be assessed tomorrow."
