Dunfermline Autocentre based at Halbeath Road Dunfermline have agreed to sponsor the back of the DAFC first team strips for the remainder of the 2009/10 Season.

Dunfermline Autocentre based at Halbeath Road, Dunfermline have agreed to sponsor the back of the Dunfermline Athletic first team strips for the remainder of the 2009/10 Season.

In a deal, which is the first of its kind for the Pars, sees the logo of Dunfermline Autocentre featuring above the numbers on the reverse of the home and away tops.

Wilma Cameron, Commercial Director said upon announcing the sponsorship said:-

"We are delighted to receive Dunfermline Autocentre's sponsorship of the back of the first team's strips. This was a new form of sponsorship which we hadn't had available before and we are really pleased the Dunfermline Autocentre have agreed to be the first sponsors in this way. We have a long-standing partnership with Gordon Close, Managing Director of the Dunfermline Autocentre and his team, and this sponsorship will help strengthen this. They advertise at the club with three trackside boards at East End Park and at our Annual Open Day, so this will re-inforce their support further."

Gordon Close from Dunfermline Autocentre said:-

"I am delighted to have arranged this on top of our other commitments with the club and some of the local youth teams and would always wish to maintain this good relationship that has formed between the club personnel and Dunfermline Autocentre over the years."

The sponsorship of the back of tops, is fast becoming a popular feature in football in, with both Dundee clubs featuring this in Scotland, and a vast number of clubs in Europe.
