Neil McGregor Post ICT
Sunday, 18th Oct 2009"We showed good form in the second half to score the goal and take something out of the game.
Central defender Neil McGregor felt that the point atr Inverness was a good one to leave with:-
"We are disappointed that we did not take more out of the game, especially when we were on top for most of the first half. We conceded a goal to go one behind and that shot us in the foot a wee bit. If we could have scored when we were on top it would have given the boys a lift and we would have come in at half time buzzing for the second half.
"We showed good form in the second half to score the goal and take something out of the game."
Neil was pleased to show some good defensive form in his last three matches after being criticised for making mistakes in previous games.
"That was well warranted. When you make mistakes you get fully punished, I think the games just caught up on me. It is strange."
Dougie Imrie was one of the Inverness strikers that Neil had to contend with on Saturday. He was a team mate with him at Clyde last season, but the Pars defender said that did not really make a difference either way:-
"It was good to play against him and nice to see him again since he is playing up in Inverness. We got a lot of bodies round him when he had the ball and stopped him playing.
"I was relieved to see the equaliser going in. I don't know if it hit Andy's head or went in off his shoulder, it just happened. I was waiting at the back post but everyone just stopped to see the ball drop into the top corner.
"We had chances to win the game, but we just didn't get the luck or the breaks."
