Jim McIntyre felt that the loss of a last minute goal that knocked his team out of the Challenge Cup was a consequence of someone not closing out Steven Tosh at the telling free kick:-
"We never got there quick enough. They just switched off. He had the strike that took a deflection and there's not a lot you can do about deflections."
The Pars Manager didn't feel that his team deserved the extra time that was prevented by Tosh's goal:-
"We were better in the second half but not enough people did enough to force their way into our plans. We played a team that needed a game - five or six of them - and they didn't grasp the opportunity. You could see when Steven Bell came on, the pace that he was playing at. We were sloppy with our passing and our decision making; it was poor on the night.
"They upped it in the second half which they only could, they had to up it because I felt first half we were away off it - sloppy and slack. They got better and raised the tempo of the game in the second half and the keeper had a couple of decent saves. Our keeper has had to make a couple so probably on the balance Queens deserved their victory."
