PARS AT ADVENTURE GOLF ISLAND!
Dunfermline Athletic Football players were at Adventure Golf Island in Fife Leisure Park to officially open the new complex.
Scott Thomson and a host of first team stars were there to cut the ribbon to celebrate Adventure Golf Island sponsoring the Scott Thomson 2000 community team.
Scott was joined by Scott Muirhead, Greg Shields, Paul Gallacher, and Calum Woods to help open the facility then play a round of Adventure golf with Scott Thomson 2000 youth team. Paul Gallacher was the star of the show and managed to card a hole in one on the 18th hole!
Head coach of the Scott Thomson 2000's, Craig Bruce was delighted with the new sponsorship; "I would like to thank everybody at Adventure Golf Island for their assistance to the team by sponsoring us. This sponsorship allows us to purchase new strips for the team, and is really invaluable to us."
Adventure Golf Island's sponsorship of the team will provide valuable resources including the strips for the upcoming season in the Fife Soccer Sevens.
Manager of Adventure Golf Island, Matthew Corrie was thrilled to be partnering with Scott Thomson 2000 this season; "We are delighted to help Scott Thomson 2000 and wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season.We would also like to show our appreciation to all the Parents and volunteers who help make the Youth Football in Fife such a success."
The attractive Pirate themed and landscaped Adventure Golf complex, in the Fife Leisure park suits young and old, with or without golfing talent, families, friends, corporate events, handicapped, couples and young love! The adventure can be enjoyed 7 days a week - 10 am to 10 pm and courses are fully floodlit for nighttime play.
The Pirate themed courses - Treasure Island and Pirate's Cove - offer you the opportunity to putt your way amidst waterfalls, fountains, Pirate forts, Palm trees, Tiki Huts and a fully rigged Pirate Ship! The courses are fully wheel chair accessible.
Similar in concept to crazy golf, the £1 million facility is proving to be a big hit and is likely to continue to be so with the summer weather fast approaching.
