Andy Kirk converted a 30th minute penalty kick on Saturday, his first goal since sinking another penalty late on in the game at Morton on 28th February. Unfortunately that didn't turn the game in Dunfermline's favour mainly because they gave goals away too cheaply:-
"It has been like that for a number of weeks; first twenty to twenty five minutes of games we have been dominating; looking the stronger side then a mistake and we end up getting punished for it. It just seems every mistake we make, we are getting punished for.
"League form is abysmal and embarrassing to look at the table and seeing where we are. We have good players in the team but we just can't seem to get it right.
"Our away form has been good for most of the season but at home we have struggled to get results. In a number of games we have been the better team but we haven't taken our chances when they have come along and made mistakes at the other end."
