Jim McIntyre looked forward to the trip to North Lanarkshire:-
"Airdrie are a decent side, they work really hard and you know what you are getting. We have drawn twice with them this year, so you know how hard a game you are going to get. Hopefully if we play the way we played against them in the last game we should do alright. You need to be right at it from the first whistle. They are fighting for their lives for points and we need as many points as we can get as well because we want to climb the table. We don't want to get sucked in back the way either, so its all to play for.
"In the first game against them this season, they did very well. Kenny Black was very complimentary in his comments in that he didn't know how they got a draw and they undeservedly had a man sent off. I think the next game, they deserved it. The first half they were excellent and the second half we did better. It is going to be a very tight game, I don't expect anything different."
The Manager commented about the game against Dundee.
"I was more pleased that we got something out of the game, because I thought we deserved it. We started the game really well and we played some good football. The final pass and the final cross was poor on the night and the final shot at goal, that let us down a bit. That was my biggest bugbear on the night. Credit to the way they kept going in the last 20 minutes and kept putting them under pressure and eventually Calum's popped up with a cracker. It was more than deserved.
"We like to get our full backs forward, that's the way I like to play the game, to try and create overloads on the pitch. It is nice that other people have chipped in with goals, and obviously Nicky has played a big part in that. We are always working, trying to get midfielders into the box to support the strikers."
Rory Loy has come back from the Scotland U21's unscathed. Kevin Harper and Graeme Holmes are still recovering from injury but Scott Wilson trained today and may be available for selection. The Manager has taken part in the training this week but it will be a few weeks before he will consider himself be ready for selection.
