Clyde were the visitors last December for Jim McIntyre`s first match as caretaker manager, he didn`t win but a 1-1 draw was very acceptable given the torrid time the Pars had experienced through October and November. Back then Clyde arrived at East End Park two points and two places better off than their hosts. This season the advantage is with the Fifers but like all the other matches in the First Division this will be another tricky encounter where points will require to be well earned..

Dunfermline managed a draw and a win against Clyde at East End Park least season, the Broadwood side`s first return since the 1993-94 First Division season and that ended in a 5-0 win for the Pars. When George O`Boyle netted four and Andy Tod the other, Dunfermline were already promoted and lowly Clyde were safe from relegation.
Clyde`s last win at East End Park was more than 34 years ago, 20 visits back on 16th March 1974. Their heaviest defeat was in 1964 when an Alex Ferguson hattrick sent the Bully Wee home on the end of a 7-2 drubbing.

Recent Form
Dunfermline`s home form has been their weakness this season. Three successive home defeats have cost the Pars dearly and the East End Park crowd will be hoping its not long before the team breaks the run of 246 minutes without scoring in front of them. Clyde must be equally frustrating for their fans. They have won only three times in eight away matches in this league season but they have registered wins at Perth and Dumfries. The Bully Wee might just have hit form at the right time, they are unbeaten in their last five league and cup games.
