Manager on Friday
Friday, 5th Dec 200805/12/08: "It is going to be a difficult game. At the same time our away record is good and hopefully we can keep that form up."
Jim McIntyre pointed out that although his side defeated Ross County in the first fixture between the teams this season he was full of admiration for the Dingwall club:-
"They played well and were a very good passing side. They have started to put the ball in the back of the net, meaning they have climbed the table on a very good run that has taken them to two points behind us.
"It is going to be a difficult game. At the same time our away record is good and hopefully we can keep that form up."
Stephen Wright watched Ross County but the manager admitted that doesn't always reveal all:-
"When you watch them you get an idea how they play but that's not necessarily how they will play on the day. We know they are a good side, we knew they were a good side when we beat them 3-1. We know that we will be in a game. If we don't start the game well then we will be in trouble.
"The break has helped clear up the injuries. Only Scott Muirhead and Simon Wiles are out. Simon's operation was a success but he is looking at five months of rehab. its a blow for the boy and a blow for the team. He has contributed three assists and scored one. He is an effective player."
Jim welcomes the opportunity to select from a larger pool. "The more players we have available the better."
The Pars travelled up north on Friday afternoon looking forward to getting back into action after a fixtureless weekend.
