Pars v Saints
Wednesday, 29th Oct 2008Chairman makes special plea to supporters. There is no substitute for a real Pars fan.
This Saturday is going to be a real top of the league derby and St Johnstone have confirmed that eight buses of away support are already coming down the M90 from Perth on Saturday. St Johnstone are currently estimating that there will be an away support of between approximately 1,000 and 2,000 fans.
John Yorkston Chairman of Dunfermline Athletic commented:-
"Games against St Johnstone are always closely contested but I'd really like to see us repeating that McDiarmid Park performance that we saw in August. Saturday's meeting is an extremely important game for us. I can only urge as many Pars fans to come along on Saturday and get behind the team for what is a real crunch game for us."
