Manager on Friday
Friday, 19th Sep 200819/09/08: "We will need to approach the game in the proper manner to have a chance of winning it.
Jim McIntyre will not take any grudges from last Saturday into this weekend's match with Ross County. The gaffer has had a chance to view the DVD of the Dundee game and it didn't change his view which was already quite clear since the incident between Eddie Malone and Calum Woods occurred directly in front of the dug outs.
"I definitely feel it was not deliberate. There was definitely contact with Calum's head but he was just trying to shake the boy off and I do feel it was a slight injustice.
"Saturday is a separate game and we just have to take the positives from last week. After we lost a man I thought the team excelled and their fitness levels were excellent. They were all out there on the pitch dying for each other, throwing themselves into challenges and working so that they didn't concede which was fantastic.
"Calum will be out and so will Stephen Glass who is out injured. There will be a couple of changes but we are lucky that Scott Thomson has recovered from his injury so we have got cover there with having Greg Shields and Scott Wilson."
The home fixture against last season's Second Division champions, Ross County is one that most football pundits would expect Dunfermline to win.
"I would agree with that; we are the home team and people will expect us to win. We will be doing our utmost to do that but what I think what's been shown in this league so far is how cut throat and how everybody can beat everybody over the first six games. That why it is such a tight points margin but Ross County deserve the same respect as Queen of the South, Dundee and St Johnstone get.
"I went to see them play against Queen of the South a couple of weeks ago and they are a good footballing side with good footballers so we will need to approach the game in the proper manner to have a chance of winning it. I imagine they will enjoy coming to a place like this, most teams do but it is up to us to get into the habit of not letting teams enjoy it by winning and winning well."
Macca welcomes back to East End Park Scott Morrison in the Ross County team. The popular Aberdonian is classified as "doubtful" however.
"It is his first game here since he left so hopefully we will send him back up the road with no points."
