Return to Dingwall
Wednesday, 4th Mar 2009Re-scheduled First Division match now Tuesday 24th March, kick off 7.45pm
Jim McIntyre and the team have twice been to Dingwall but failed to find the pitch playable. Quite a few fans ventured up the A9 in December before finding out the match had been frozen off. On Tuesday night the dedicated few travelled to Britain's most northerly league ground only to discover that the pitch had become waterlogged.
The next opportunity for Pars fans to visit Easter Ross will now be on Tuesday 24th March. The twice postponed fixture will hopefully now go ahead on the fourth Tuesday in March with a 7.45pm kick off.
There will be a further possiblity of a trip to Dingwall on Saturday 18th April.
Apparently the Megabus from Ferrytoll and Kinross Park and Ride is a reliable means of transport, offering scenic splendour through some of Scotland's finest countryside at very economical rates. Onward connections to Dingwall make it possible to have time for ample refreshment in very friendly local hostelries. Dingwall Railway Station is within easy walking distance of Victoria Park.
