Aberdonian, Jim Hamilton joined Dunfermline three years after having a two month spell at East End Park as an amateur. The former U21 internationalist started his career at Keith, he joined Dundee before moving to Hearts in December 1996. The fearless striker netted 40 goals for the Jambos in 105 games, helping them to lift the Scottish Cup in 1998. He also played in Europe before moving to Aberdeen in 1999 and then Dundee United, Ross County, Livingston and Motherwell have been added since then but the striker found some form at Fir Park scoring 12 times in 55 appearances. His Motherwell career will always be remembered for his volley against Celtic on 22nd January 2006. Some of these in the Pars colours would be just fine.
