Adam Hammill signed for Dunfermline Athletic on loan until the end of the 2006-07 season. A scouser Adam has 5 England U19 caps and scored against Switzerland back in November. He is a left winger and playmaker; a big player for their reserves and is coming north for experience.
Adam, 5'11" was born in Bootle and has been involved with the Liverpool Football Academy from the age of six and a half. He signed for Liverpool at the age of seven and eleven years later was a member of the Liverpool squad that successfully won the FA Youth Cup in 2005-06. In one of the earlier rounds he scored a sensational goal at Anfield from the halfway line.
He moved up from the Academy to be full time in February 2006. With the ink still drying on an extension to his contract he arrived at Dunfermline on 17th January and made his SPL debut as a second half substitute against Rangers the following Sunday. A major player in the Pars push for SPL survival and Scottish Cup Final glory.
Played 18 matches including 4 off the bench. One goal while at Dunfermline v Celtic at Celtic Park on 3rd March 2007.
