NEXT MATCH: DUNFERMLINE v SAN JUAN JABLOTEH
East End Park, Tuesday 18th March, 7.00pm kick off

Scott Wilson felt that his team "shot themselves in the foot" by losing an early goal at Dumfries on Saturday:-

"We had just settled down when we lost a silly goal. It was a bad bad goal to lose but I think we recovered from it. We have that mentality now, if we go one down we can recover. We got a good goal back and for 50 minutes or so I thought we were maybe the better team. It is a game but disappointed because six months ago we would have been happy with a goal down here but we feel that we have moved on. We are not happy with a draw. We could have been beat in the end but there are a few boys gutted in there actually."

Queen of the South's goal came from left back Bob Harris who seemed to have acres of space and time to pick his spot. The Pars captain ruled out any complaint of offside:-

"When I turned round I thought the boy was onside. He took it down on his chest; it was bad defending from us. We should do better but Scott (Morrison) redeemed himself when he scored a good free kick.

"They could have had a penalty as well; I am not sure about. They claimed for about five. On other days refs would have given penalties; especially the one where Burke went into the back of the big guy (Sean O'Connor). I thought that should have been a penalty. We have had penalties against us all season that have been incredible decisions but we maybe rode our luck today.

"We are disappointed; didn't really play well. We chased the game; there wasn't a lack of effort from the boys but I just felt that on the ball we just weren't good enough.

"It was one of those games - their centre half would possibly say the same - all we seemed to do was header the ball. That is what you are there for but as a team we are disappointed that we could have done better on the ball, especially when we had time.

"We stole it the last time we were here - 1-0. The mentality of the team has been changed whereas going one goal down before we would have been beat. Now if we go one goal down, we work our socks off and get chances. This was probably the first game for a while that we have not had five or six decent chances which is disappointing."

The Dumfries side have now gone nine consecutive league games at home without defeat and Scott conceded that he was happy to accept the draw:-

"It is a hard place to come, there are no easy games here so we will take a draw even though we are disappointed."
