SFA dismiss Harper Appeal

Kevin Harper will miss the match v Clyde following his red card against Partick Thistle

Dunfermline Athletic's Claim of Wrongful Dismissal on the sending off of Kevin Harper in the club's SFL First Division match against Partick Thistle last Saturday has been dismissed.

The player had been sent off by referee Brian Winter for serious foul play following a challenge made on a Partick Thistle player.

In accordance with the provisions for Claims of Wrongful Dismissal, the referee is given the opportunity to review the circumstances of the sending off. Brian Winter has indicated that he is content with his decision to send the player off.

The Claim is therefore dismissed.

Kevin Harper is thus suspended for Dunfermline Athletic's away match against Clyde.
