Manager on Friday
Friday, 15th Feb 2008"You have got to look to be winning your home games.
Jim McIntyre would like to take three points from his home game against Partick Thistle but accepts that might not be so easy:-
"Thistle will be buoyant after a good cup win during the week but if we play the way we have been playing and keep creating the chances then I am confident that we can take the points.
"We have a good home record in general since I took over so you have got to look to be winning your home games. They have good experienced players and a couple of good young players that Ian McCall has picked up from the lower leagues - Buchanan and Chaplain have done very well, and they have good experience at the back with Alan Archibald, John Robertson and Mark Twaddle. Good players all round and a good manager in Ian McCall."
Macca is not fit for selection on Saturday but he would not reveal the status of his other injured players since he did not want to give anything away to the opposition.
Long term injured, Greg Shields is back in training and will be another two weeks and some practice games away from a return.
Anthony McParland has left the club after a trial period:-
"We wish him well, we just didn't feel that he was going to make us any stronger. He is a good footballer, a lovely lad you could recommend to anybody. I don't think he is any better than what we have got basically" said the Gaffer.
