Everyone at East End Park hopes that Jim McIntyre can make it three consecutive league wins when bottom of the league Stirling Albion are the visitors this Saturday. After a comfortable win over Queen of the South, the game at Morton saw the Pars riding their luck to hang on for their second away win in this season`s league campaign. Stirling in the meantime have dropped further behind at the foot. Their match at Broadwood was postponed last Saturday and even though they won a point for their Boxing Day draw against St Johnstone they are now eight points behind the teams just above them.
The record shows that Dunfermline have had the upper hand in league matches against Stirling Albion but only just.

The most recognised face to Pars fans amongst the Stirling party will be Manager Allan Moore. Signed by Bert Paton in 1994 in a swap deal, Moore`s lasting contribution to the Pars archives was his electrifying runs up the wing as part of a team that always looked like they would score goals in every game they played. Andy Smith benefited more than most as Moore`s crosses inevitably found their way onto Smith`s forehead the last time Dunfermline won the First Division in season 1995/96.
Moore left Dunfermline on a free transfer to Livingston in 1998, but Pars fans will no doubt remember his time at the club with a smile and will no doubt get another warm welcome to East End Park.
Referee Alan Boyd will be in charge of his first ever Dunfermline match.
