The United Pars meeting scheduled for tonight (Thursday 29th) has had to be re-scheduled, to Thursday 17th January, East End Park at 7pm. Apologies for the change of date.
DAFC supporters are welcomed to come along to the next United Pars meeting; there is no formal membership and the group meets regularly to act as a communication channel between fans and the Club.
The Club is also happy to receive any queries through enquiries@dafc.co.uk, or via letter or call, at any time.
Points raised by fans at the last meeting included:
Problems with entry to Hearts v DAFC match on 25/9:
Hearts had a very limited number of DAFC tickets left for sale on the night, more DAFC fans than anticipated turned up for last minute purchase, and this had caused entry problems on the night.
DAFC tickets had been on sale from Ticket Office and Club Shop for two weeks prior to this all-ticket match, up until 5.30pm on 25/9. Fans leaving purchase of tickets for all-ticket matches to the night of the game may unfortunately be disappointed, and under these circumstances DAFC didn't feel an official complaint to Hearts would have been wholly justified.
Raising Stewarding Problems:
A mobile number will be issued soon to enable DAFC fans to text alert DAFC Facilities of any serious stewarding issues felt unaddressed. No name is required from the DAFC fan raising the problem and mobile numbers received will be destroyed once the issue had been resolved. Watch out for the announcement in the programme!
Disabled Access to Norrie McCathie Stand from Car Park:
One of DAFC Directors, Rodney Shearer has agreed to help out on this one, and will carry out some remedial groundworks to problem areas ASAP.
Volunteers:
DAFC are always on the look out for volunteers to help with fund-raising (especially on match-days for the sale of Sammy's Golden Seven's Lottery squares) and general helping out! If you feel you could help out please contact Joe at joe@dafc.co.uk
