Scott Wilson spoke after the match at Dumfries relieved that the penalty given against him in the 89th minute was saved by keeper Paul Gallacher:-

"Overall in general play we had more clear cut chances. We have been playing average but kept clean sheets. Gall saved us today. Sometimes when you don't take your chances it gives the other team a chance with a penalty or whatever.

Some Gall! Paul Gallacher was everyone's hero

"I didn't think it was a penalty but then I am always going to say that.  I have had 95% support in the dressing room. I think the other 5% are just trying to wind me up.

"I didn't really touch him. What disappointed me was the referee could have said to me "well I thought it was a penalty' but he actually said that it was a 'stonewaller'. To say it was a stonewaller then I thought 'he hasn't really seen it has he'.

"We have had penalties right, left and centre against us. The luck against us at the start of the season was terrible; if we had had that luck at the start of the season we might have been sitting at the top of the league.

Scott sees yellow for protesting too much

"Hamilton have won today but we have won so who cares? It doesn't matter how we are playing as long as we are grinding it out.

"We are not really caring, we are happy with the three points that we felt we deserved. In the last three games we have not really played anywhere near where we can but after getting beat 2-1 off Clyde, it was important that we started winning no matter what.Great football has not been working for us this season and maybe route one has worked.

"We have had a lot of games recently; guys have played a lot of games in a short period of time. We are delighted, we go into a break now. This is a hard place to come and win and we have two weeks now to get other players back.

"We have Hamilton at home next game; we couldn't have asked for a better game to go back into. We have players coming back for it."
