Bobby Ryan in action against Dundee
Bobby Ryan gave his thoughts after the match in Dundee:-
"We are disappointed that we didn't get the three points. We played really well today, especially the first twenty five minutes. We should have been a goal or two up but it was only one and conceded a sloppy goal.
"I don't think he hit it as clean as he can that lad. Unfortunately for us it a shin and Paul Gallacher could do nothing about it.It's a point gained rather than a point lost.
"Overall I think we were lucky to get a point because they missed a penalty towards the end of the game. It would have been a nightmare if we had not got a point at least."
Bobby reckoned it was very important for the Pars to have extend their unbeaten run in domestic competition to five matches:-
"We are keeping the run going but we need to get wins."
Just five appearances last season after joining from Dublin club, Shelbourne and a lengthy injury Bobby is delighted to have started two consecutive matches:-
"It has been a bit of disaster since I have came here. I started a few and then I was out injured.I am happy to be back playing and hopefully I can help the team climb the table as well."

The 28 year old from Limerick praised Calum Woods, his partner on the right side:-
"That's two games with him. He is a good player Calum, he is a young lad and he likes getting forward as I do. It's been going well so far so hopefully we can keep the combination going over the next few games."
Bobby came close twelve minutes into the second half when his shot went over off the Dundee crossbar:-
"Maybe I could have taken a touch on it but having said that if had gone into the back of the net it doesn't matter. It would have been nice to get a goal, it would have been my first for the club. Unfortunately it didn't go in so I will have to settle for another day."
Goalscoring is not unusual for Bobby but he is more likely to be the provider. He admitted that his record from the League of Ireland is not that impressive:-
"It wouldn't have been the greatest to be honest.Seven goals a season but if I could get seven now I would be happy. I am not making any promises but I'll see.
"I am still not 100% fit as you could see.I tired towards the end of the game and had to dig deep but with this Challenge Cup game coming up, the league game and then Hearts in the other Cup they are coming thick and fast. With the injuries, if I am playing well enough I should be playing week in week out and the fitness will be there then."
In the absence of reserve games, the first one is not until mid October, the Challenge Cup has been a welcome chance for squad players and those returning from injury to stake a claim for starting places:-
"It is important when you are in, you have to win them as well.Once you keep winning it's a habit and we can keep it going. I am sure that there will be a few changes at the weekend as well because players have picked up knocks here as well."
