Dunfermline and Clyde have met 14 times on cup duty. Clyde have the upper hand with 7 wins to the Pars 6 with one match tied and one famously abandoned in February 2004.

Clyde who disposed of Queen of the South in the First Round have a full squad to choose from with the exception of former Par, Craig McKeown.  Dunfermline will be without the injured Greg Shields, Scott Thomson, Scott Muirhead, Scott Morrison, Nick Phinn, Roddy McKenzie and Jim McIntyre.
