CIS Insurance Cup Draw

Dunfermline selected to take the trip to Tynecastle on Tuesday 25th September. Last cup meeting was the 1-0 win at East End Park back on 3rd February this year.

HEARTS

 

Dunfermline have been drawn away to Hearts in the Third Round of this season's CIS Insurance Cup. The match will be played at Tynecastle on Tuesday 25th September with a 7.45pm kick off.

The Pars last two victories at Tynecastle were a bit like the proverbial buses, not just one but two came along during season 89/90. George O'Boyle and Ross Jack were on target as the Athletic triumphed 2-0 in February 1990.  Ross Jack and Paul Smith were the scorers when Dunfermline won 2-1 there in October 1989.

The draw is as follows:-

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Gretna
East Fife v Rangers
Falkirk v Dundee United
Dundee v Celtic (Live on BBC Wed 26/09/07)
Hearts v DUNFERMLINE ATHLETIC
Hamilton Academical v Kilmarnock
Hibernian v Motherwell
Partick Thistle v Aberdeen

East Fife's match against Rangers will be played at East End Park on Wednesday 26th September. 

Dates for ties.
Third Round:- Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th September, 2007
Fourth Round:- Tuesday 30th or Wednesday 31st October, 2007
Semi-Finals:- Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th January, 2008
Final :- Sunday 16th March, 2008
