United Pars Meeting

A United Pars meeting was held on Tuesday 26th June. Several issues of interest were discussed.

Matters discussed:-

Home Strip launch, it will be in store Friday 20th July, in time for home pre season friendlies. Photos of the strip expected to be online by Thursday 5th July.

Season Ticket update; as at 26th June  - 569 new, 1285 renewals; great response. Ticket Office open until 12.30pm on Saturday 30th June to ensure greatest uptake of Early Bird offer.

Sammy Squares; new scheme for next season; £10 per entry; winner every home match of £777 (going with a Sammy Golden Seven's theme - suggested by one fan attending); plus additional Christmas and end of season prize.

Discussed Euro Draw on 3rd August; Jim Leishman and John Yorkston will be at draw in Nyon; the club will try its best to get all official travel arrangement organised and details on web by Monday 6th August.

Start of season party in Legends from 7.00pm onwards 4th August after Hamilton Accies away match; Tom Jones tribute and Live DJ; free to all.  Since it is not usually open on a Tuesday Legends will open before both home pre season friendlies, 24th (v Bristol Rovers) and 26th July (v Nottingham Forest).

DASC had problem with stewards re Cup Final buses; will all (DAFC & DASC) meet with stewards before we go next time!; to ensure smooth for all.

DASC raised concern that one DAFC mascot on Tennents Scottish Cup Final was a Rangers supporter; it was explained that 8 mascot places were used by SFA/ Tennents etc as their competition; but would raise concern to SFA.

All asked if Rock Steady still stewarding next season; advised under review.
