In Round Three Dunfermline Athletic defeated Rangers 3-2 with goals from Jim Hamilton, Stephen Simmons and Phil McGuire.
Hearts made the trip to Stranraer in Round Three winning 4-0 with Velicka netting a hattrick and Bednar the other.
