Jim McIntyre comments on Saturdays closed doors game against Airdrie

As the Dunfermline squad were about to board their flight to Dusseldorf on Sunday afternoon, Jim McIntyre described Saturday's closed doors game against Airdrie as a good exercise.

"I was pleased with the performances and the tempo of the game. Our new signing Jason Thomson started and fitted in well. I was pleased with his contribution."

The Manager confirmed his team that played against Airdrie as:- Chris Smith, Jason Thomson, John Potter, Andy Dowie, Paddy Boyle, Paul Burns, Ryan Thomson, Nick Phinn, David Graham, Liam Buchanan and Steven McDougall.

Two subs were used in the second half - Andy Barrowman for Liam Buchanan and Paul Willis for David Graham.

The Dunfermline management and players are expected to arrive in Salzburg by 8.00pm on Sunday.
