David Graham on his Pars debut
The defeat at the hands of Queen of the South was not the best starts to David Graham's Pars career:-
"It was just one of those days. We lost bad goals and that cost us. They took their chances and we didn't take ours that's the difference. With St Johnstone drawing it is also an even bigger disappointment."
It was two good finishes to defeat Graham's new club and he felt it unfortunate that the second came from a mistake.
"It was a great strike from Dobbie but we just have to cut out mistakes and capitalise on the chances that St Johnstone are giving us. The better team won today. We started alright in the first twenty minutes but we lost the goal. Chances came but we never took them. It was a battle and they won it. We just have to keep the heads up and move on to the next game. We have a good squad we just have not got to get too disheartened, keep plugging away and hopefully the results will come.
The new man was not entirely happy with his own performance:-
"I had a chance myself, I should have scored but ended up slapping it back to the goalie. I didn't think I had the best of days to be honest. I have got 18 months to put that right and I'd hope to do better the next time that I am picked to play.
"I just want to play, wherever I am asked to play I will try to the best of my ability."
David claimed to have settled in well at his new club:-
"Obviously I know a few of the boys from playing against them over the years so it has been easy to settle in. I have known the gaffer for a while as well. He has different approaches from where I have been before so I am sure that I will get used to it."
