Hearts man hopes to be on song at Dunfermline

Legends Opening Hours

Jamie Mole feels that he has played better football since he joined the Dunfermline camp despite being used sparingly:-

"I only got the last ten to fifteen minutes but I look forward to the next game. It is up to the Manager if he wants to play me. As long as the strikers are performing well and scoring goals they should stay in the team. If I get a chance then that's what I have got to do.

"I can't just come from Hearts and expect to walk straight into the team. If the Manager plays us in the next game or whenever he chooses to play us then I just have to take my chance."

His father was in the stand to watch the match against Airdrie United and it's no surprise that he felt his son might have been introduced after the interval but Jamie understands that shout is up to Jim McIntyre.

Jamie's agent Darren Jackson had informed him that Dunfermline were interested in taking him on loan:-

"I didn't speak to the manager at Hearts but my agent spoke to him and he said that he was looking at bringing in one or two strikers. I maybe wouldn't even be getting a game in the reserves so coming here was a good option."

Scorer of a goal at Arbroath in a reserve game last week, Jamie was impressed with his first week training with the Pars but very relieved that he had avoided the Manager's choral penalty:-

"I nearly had to sing a song on Friday. The boys do sprints on a Friday and I won two of my practice runs but went downhill from there. You go in groups of two and the winner goes out. The loser goes back in, it is good fun. It is a bit nerve racking."

The Geordie who was a Newcastle United season ticket holder as a youth, still has two years left on his Tynecastle contract but hopes to work his way back into the reckoning there by doing well while at Dunfermline. The loan spell follows previous loans to Livingston and Queen of the South that have proved successful in terms of his development:-

"Each time I have gone back and played in Hearts first team. Hopefully I can do the same."
