Friday, 9th Jan 2009Transfer Window loan signing
This afternoon Dunfermline Athletic have completed the signing of Jamie Mole from Hearts until 30th May 2009.
The 20 year-old Englishman is a product of Hearts successful football academy and has scored once in nine starts for Hearts this season. Jamie has made 15 appearances in total this season for Hearts coming on as substitute five times. He spent the majority of last season on loan at Queen of the South.
Jamie scored a spectacular 30-yard goal in Hearts 2-1 victory against St Mirren earlier this season and appreciates the benefits that a loan spell can provide. He said: "While it always my intention to demonstrate my ability at Hearts, I believe that the experience of more regular first team football in Scotland will be beneficial for me.
"I have watched other players such as Jamie, Robbie and Calum benefit from loan spells and believe it can help my career development at Hearts. I am determined to be successful with Hearts but for the rest of this season I will be concentrating on playing my part in helping Dunfermline's push towards the Clydesdale Bank Premier League."
Jim Leishman commented about the arrival of Jamie Mole:-
"The Manager saw him play in the reserve games, and when he came on at pre-season against us, he looked a strong and useful player. It's a great opportunity for him to see what he can do at first team level if he gets selected."
