Sales of Sammy's Golden Sevens have been poor.1390 squares required to be sold to breakeven but to date only 698 squares had been taken up despite halving the cost per square to £10.Karen remarked that the club were badly missing the services of David Lamming who did so well to sell the scheme last season (1198 @ £20).Anyone joining now would still have good odds on picking up the winner's prize of £777 at the remaining eight home matches.
The Club Shop had re-located to East End Park and is open Monday to Saturday 9.00am until 5.30pm .
Requests to have match highlights on the club website still require someone to take responsibility for editing.A volunteer with the necessary skills would be welcomed.
Reference the Scottish Cup tie, no communication had come from Partick Thistle since the late postponement. Two spaces were left on the free bus for Tuesday night's game.
No returns had been made of this year's replica kit as supplied by Adidas. Unfortunately no long sleeved tops had come in until October and delivery timescales had not been good. Youth teams had not received their full kit and that had been unfair on their sponsors.
It was only a one year deal and so next season Puma will be the supplier.Puma will design a strip specifically for Dunfermline Athletic incorporating black and white stripes. Genesis leisurewear have prepared retro t-shirts based on the '61 and '68 Cup Final strips that will be available in the Club Shop from next month.
Resurfacing will be carried out on the car park to the rear of the ground in the Spring.
A Meet the Manager Night will be held on Thursday 24th January and players will be making guest appearances on the forthcoming schools in service days - 14th and 15th February.Hopefully this will raise the awareness of the new location of the Club Shop.
Databases are held on three different systems within the club and these can result in supporters receiving more than one communication from the Club. This will be addressed.
The meeting adjourned to view the Club Shop before returning to discuss Youth Initiative tickets for the match against Morton on 26th January.Groups have already been identified for distribution but tickets will be available for another match later in the season.Any groups overlooked can e mail for free tickets.
Karen said that Jim McIntyre is going to put players on a rota to attend future United Pars meetings.
A discussion took place about the sale of hospitality packages. Both the Kingdom Suite and the Gallery are full for this Saturday's match.Reducing the prices had been a drastic measure and was not proving to be a main income streams as had been the original intention. Karen said that hospitality prices had been set after benchmarking them against other clubs in the First Division but at the first away match at Hamilton discovered that they were doing a full corporate package for £50.
