Dunfermline Athletic FC AGM

The Club's Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 11th December 2006

The Chairman's Report states:-

In order to bring our financial year in line with the football season we have now prepared our accounts to 31st May 2006.

During the past nine months the Club has continued to improve its financial position with an operating profit (excluding exceptional items) of £106,000 and has improved its Balance Sheet by converting a number of loans into shared capital.  We remain focussed on reducing costs and generating additional income in order to strengthen our playing squad and develop our youth programme.

In September 2006 we acquired the leasehold interest in the Pitreavie Playing Fields and in doing so guaranteed that the Club will have training facilities for the next 50 years.  We will endeavour to complete similar strategic transactions in the future that will allow us to achieve our aim of being a progressive and successful Club both on and off the field.

The Board of Directors are extremely grateful to all of our loyal supporters and to all of the staff and coaches for their considerable efforts in ensuring that Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is able to compete for honours at the highest level in Scottish football.
