It is only two months since Dunfermline had their last back to back SPL wins at home, now they are search of the same again as they try to follow up the 2-1 win over Dundee United with a win over Jimmy Calderwood`s Aberdeen. The Dons will travel wary of a Dunfermline Athletic side looking for rejuvenation under Steve Kenny but also with their tails up since they sit third in the league.

Aberdeen have not lost in their last five matches and on their travels have only been defeated at Ibrox and Rugby Park. Prior to last Saturday Dunfermline had not won in six but with a new Manager form can often be turned upside down.

Referee for this match will be Mike Tumilty. This will be only his fourth SPL match and his second this season in charge of Dunfermline. He was referee for the match against Dundee United at Tannadice and awarded the Pars a penalty, that Mark Burchill missed. He also managed to show four yellow cards to the visitors before half time! This is the first time he has seen teams other than Inverness Caley, Dundee United and Dunfermline.
There is no doubting that home fans will long for a defeat over the Two Jimmies. Let`s hope it becomes a reality come 4.45pm on Saturday.
Come on ye Pars!
