On Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October the Bank of Scotland Premierleague Trophy Tour, which been thrilling thousands of school children all over the country, showcased the Trophy in Dunfermline. During this week four competition winning classes had the privilege of hosting this fantastic piece of silverware in their classrooms at the following schools St. Columbas, Newport, Townhill and McLean Primary Schools
Townhill Primary School had a special treat when keeper Dorrus De Vries and Calum Woods dropped by, delighting pupils by signing autographs and posing for photographs.
McLean Primary School pupils were also surprised and delighted when Scott Thomson and Scot Muirhead dropped by to help them celebrate their good fortune and join in the fun. Pupils in all four schools enjoyed educational seminars, goody bags and exclusive class photographs as part of their experience.
On Friday 6th October, the pupils enjoyed exclusive coaching courtesy of Dunfermline FC's Community Programme, where expert Scottish FA coaches put them through their paces. The children all left tired but with smiles on their faces, as they had enjoyed a fantastic week they will never forget.
