Having been re-launched at the end of October last year, The Centenary Club Lifeline has now reached the magnificent landmark of having recruited 1,000 applications to the scheme!
Exactly 700 people have filled in their details on the Pars United website sign up page here: http://www.pars-united.com/cclifeline/join-here/ whilst 300 people have filled out applications forms, which can be obtained from any lounge or member of staff at East End Park. Only 60 from this 1,000 have yet to set up their standing orders, we'd like to remind them to do so at their earliest opportunity in order to take part in the prize draws and help the football club in this unique way.
With the original target of 500 paying members reached shortly after the launch night at The Alhambra, to achieve double that number in only nine months is a tremendous indication of Dunfermline Athletic's supporters helping out their football club on a monthly basis, paying £20 each month into the scheme.
Whilst the main aim of the Lifeline is to be just that to the football club, members also go into prize draws each month. As well as regular £250 and £500 cheques being issued, Dave Dawson won the Christmas bumper draw of £2,013 last December, whilst Vanessa Martinson drove off in her brand new Chevrolet Spark during the 1-1 draw with Rangers back in May.
Each existing member can claim £10 for every new paying member that they introduce to the Lifeline, so please let's not stop now!
The Lifeline has been the envy of many football clubs throughout the country, with a vital cash flow being provided to the football club twelve months a year. This could not have done without your support up to this point, many thanks and long may it continue to grow and provide even more funds to Dunfermline Athletic in the years to come.
