Pars Pre Season is a beach

The Pars squad took to the famous Gullane sand dunes on Wednesday as Jim Jefferies gave them a 'treat' in the serious schedule to get his squad fit for the season ahead.

The Manager told the club website:-

"We are at Pitreavie all day every day and you get into a routine so we changed the venue on Wednesday to try and give them something different, a bit of spirit and camaraderie. I warned them just not to have too big a breakfast because I had a big exercise mapped out for them!"

The players were put through their paces by Neil McCann and John Potter under the organisation of the gaffer who seemed to be in his element as he returned to the location of many of his pre season stints with Hearts in the past. On one of the hottest days of the year so far, the players were able to cool off in the Firth of Forth before seeking rest in the golf club for soup and sandwiches.
