Saturday, 28th Jun 2014Look the Par-t for your special event this summer
DAFC are pleased to announce the official launch of the new “Pars United” tartan in conjunction with The Kilt Company. This follows positive feedback from supporters earlier in the year.
The Kilt Company, based in Guildhall Street, Dunfermline kindly agreed to design the Pars United tartan, to complement the existing two Pars tartans.
It is a striking black and red design which is sure to be popular with Pars fans looking to celebrate a special occasion.
For any kilt hire or sale, the Kilt Company will continue to offer a percentage revenue share with DAFC which is a fantastic gesture.
Director, Ross McArthur commented “the new Pars United tartan looks fantastic and helps to celebrate a new dawn for our club. I would like to pay a special thank you to Charlie Brine and everyone at The Kilt Company for their many months of hard work to get it from design to now being on sale.
Charlie has again kindly agreed to offer our club a revenue share, which is to be applauded, and I hope Pars fans can support The Kilt Company and our club, by hiring or buying the new kilt”.
Pars fan, Craig Hope was officially the first Pars fan to buy the new Pars United kilt for his recent wedding. So as not to spoil the surprise on the day for Craig, the final design had to be kept secret until now! Before his wedding,
Craig along with First Team Coach John Potter, took the opportunity to model the new kilt and range of morning wear available from The Kilt Company.
The Kilt Company’s, Charlie Brine stated “having played for The Pars, and supported DAFC for many years I am delighted to be able to continue to assist our club, with our revenue share arrangement.
I felt it was important to mark the part played by Pars United in securing our club, and I hope all Pars supporters will like the final design of the tartan. I have received really positive feedback to date and a few sales already!”
