East End Park will be opening for DAFC Volunteering this coming weekend and next weekend -Saturdays and Sundays 21 and 22 June and also 28 and 29 June.
Everyone is welcome to attend from 10am onwards (via the main gates on Halbeath Road at the Macklin Motors end of the ground) and late comers can join in the activity at any time. The tasks mainly involve painting and cleaning and volunteers are recommended to wear suitable old clothing! Materials including paint brushes will be provided but if volunteers could possibly bring their own paint brush, hand brush, scrapers and gloves that would be greatly appreciated.
Dedicated Pars fans have been cleaning and tidying East End Park on weekdays for a couple of weeks and this will be the first time we've opened the ground for weekend volunteering.

The Board would like to thank all fans for their continued efforts to help Dunfermline Athletic, especially those getting their hands dirty by tidying, cleaning and painting East End Park. Director Ross McArthur said:-
"The good work of fans goes on and it is truly inspiring to see so many getting hands-on to help secure the future of our Club. This work is not glamorous but it's crucial. Fans are keeping our costs down and it's greatly appreciated. We hope for a great turnout over these two weekends; whether you can spare an hour, or make it for all four days, your attendance will be very welcome as there are so many things still be done to get the stadium ready for the new season."
