Commercial Manager joins

Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to introduce new Commercial Manager Alister Burn.

Alister joins with an extensive background in the international travel industry, most recently in commercial operations with Viking Cruises

Tasked with helping the club develop its income stream Alister has been in the building for a month, meeting staff, sponsors, advertisers and members of the wider Pars community. There will be a key focus on maximising the usage of KDM Group East End Park on both match days and non match days as well as building and growing sponsorship and advertising partnerships with the multiple stakeholders involved with the club.

Chairman and CEO David Cook commented, "We are naturally delighted at the improvement on the pitch, but it is important for us not to forget the need to grow commercial revenues to help us reach a more sustainable position for the club in the medium to long term.

I feel there is a lot of commercial potential to explore locally, regionally and nationally, therefore, bringing in someone like Alister is an important appointment for the club and I am excited to work with him to help develop our commercial offering and boost turnover."

Alister added, "There is a great buzz around the city right now and It’s a great time to be joining Dunfermline Athletic. To be part of the team helping to build the club to reach it`s enormous potential is an important and exciting challenge for me.
