On Saturday Dunfermline take the journey north up the A9 to face Premiership opposition in the form of Ross County. While the Pars took on Cove Rangers in a pre season friendly, Malky MacKay’s Premiership side went to Verona in Italy on 25th June for a week of pre season training.
Both sides have played Highland League runners up Buckie Thistle in their last games. While County were held to a 1-1 draw at Buckie’s Victoria Park Dunfermline saw off the same opposition 5-0 on Tuesday night.

Disappointing from a Pars perspective because they probably deserved something from the game given their excellent first half performance.
