Paul Allan extends contract

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to announce that midfielder Paul Allan has signed a contract extension to May 2024.
Paul joins Lewis McCann in committing his future to the club until 2024 after establishing himself in the first team this season. The 21 year old has started 12 matches and been a substitute twice for the Pars this season.

Paul is a product of the Dunfermline Athletic youth system and Fife Elite. Paul started off at Inverkeithing Boys Club but from the age of ten years old he has been at Dunfermline.
He spent the month of April in 2017 training with Benfica in Portugal and they rated him as a number six.
Paul was loaned out to Stenhousemuir in August 2017 but only made three substitute appearances and then to Hill of Beath in January 2018. In September 2019 Paul went out on loan to Brechin City and started in 20 of his 21 appearances for the Glebe Park side in 2019- 2020 season.
In October 2020 Paul went out on a season-long loan to Albion Rovers but was recalled in January 2021 after making seven starts for the League Two club.
