A Big Thank You!

A thank you from the staff and directors of DAFC following Saturday`s Dunfermline Foodbank collection.

DAFC is delighted to announce that a total of 615.4kg of food was collected at Saturday`s match against Queen of the South.

A total of 226 under 12s exchanged a food donation for a match ticket, along with a number of fans who donated food without requiring a ticket.

Over the last 4 years we have now collected over 2 tonnes of food and donated over £600 to the Dunfermline Foodbank.

The club would like to thank the Pars Foundation for helping with the collection, and for transporting the food to the foodbank.

Collection organiser Matt Ford said "I`d like to thank everyone who donated food on Saturday, not just Pars fans but also the Queen of the South fans. The work that Dunfermline Foodbank and their volunteers do is invaluable to families in the local area, and we are always delighted to help them, especially at this time of year."
