Sammy’s Christmas Party

Sammy had a right good knees up at his first party since his birthday celebration in September 2019

It was Sammy’s Gang who joined the big Pars mascot at a special Christmas Party with Mr Barking in the Purvis Suite at East End Park. Young Pars members up to the age of 6 years make up Sammy’s Gang.

Sammy the Tammy was re-united with his old pal Mr Barking and there were 25 Sammy’s Gang members in attendance.

Mr Barking supplied lots of fun before the break for food and juice. There was even mince pies and shortbread for the adults.

After refreshments Sammy made his big appearance to his theme tune “Into the Valley”. There was dancing and Sammy pretended to play the guitar. Sammy enjoyed a game of pass the parcel with his friends before Mr Barking read out Sammy’s Christmas Story and called upon two adults to participate in “Grease Lightning”.

All Sammy’s Gang members went home with a selection box.

This event was free and open to all those members who paid their membership fee last season. The Young Pars Committee stated at the time that the fee would cover two seasons (including this season 2021/22) as they were unsure of what could be offered for the membership due to the covid restrictions.
