Kai Kennedy arrives at Dunfermline

Dunfermline Athletic welcome Kai Kennedy on a season long loan from Rangers

Nineteen year old Kai Kennedy has today joined Dunfermline on a season long loan from Rangers. The Gers youngster signed a new Ibrox deal at the start of this year to keep him at the Scottish champions until 2023. He comes to Dunfermline with Rangers retaining an option to recall him in January 2022.

Having come up through the Rangers Youth Academy, Kai made his Rangers debut at the age of 17 as a sub late on in the Scottish Cup tie versus Stranraer in January 2020.

Kennedy spent last season on loan in the Championship playing ten matches with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and then nineteen at Raith Rovers.

Kennedy has represented Scotland at various youth levels up to under 19s. (5 at U16, 8 at U17, 3 at U18 and 4 at U19).
