Keith Brown
Tuesday, 22nd Jun 2021Everyone at DAFC was saddened to hear the passing of Pars fan Keith Brown recently.
Keith Brown, an avid supporter of our Club, died suddenly and tragically on 8th June, aged just 46 years, leaving behind his wife Sarah, daughter Olivia aged 17, and son Luke who was 16 years old just three weeks ago.
Keith and Luke were for many years season ticket holders at East End Park and, prior to Covid, regularly attended both home and away matches. Keith was also the prime mover behind the establishment of the Pars Fan Loan Fund on dafc.net, whereby he and others in the group provided small loans to Pars supporters suffering temporary financial difficulties.
As a mark of the man, after Keith`s former student pal Mike, himself a Wolves fan, died suddenly in 2009 in his 30`s, Keith donated a trophy to the Club to be presented to the most improved youth player, and each year he was invited down to Molineux to present the trophy to its winner, on the pitch at half-time at the last home game of the season.
Keith’s funeral is taking place on Saturday 26th June at Kirkcaldy Crematorium and the cortege will pass East End Park at about 9:40am. The Club meant so much to Keith and Luke and this will be a fitting route for him to make his final journey.
