With Hearts, Dundee and Alloa Athletic being replaced by Kilmarnock, Hamilton and Partick Thistle the 2021-2022 schedule sees Dunfermline taking on different clubs. The fixture on 18th December will be Dunfermline’s first visit to Kilmarnock on league business since January 2012. The first league match in over eight years away to Hamilton Academical will be on Saturday 4th December.
The Cinch Championship season kicks off away to Morton on 31st July. The first home league match will see Partick Thistle visit on 7th August and the first Fife Derby follows that away to Raith Rovers. Four of the first seven league fixtures will be at home with Arbroath, Inverness and Hamilton following Partick to East End Park.
The Festive fixtures look similar to last season’s - at home to Arbroath on Boxing Day (a Sunday), Inverness on the Wednesday night match but at home and then away to the Rovers on 2nd January.
The away trips to Inverness and to Queen of the South that some fans look to making a weekend out of are on Saturday’s 13th November and 26th March to the north and 2nd October and 29th January to Dumfries.
The only other midweek match scheduled will be the home match against Raith Rovers on Tuesday 26th October. The campaign ends on a Friday night at home to Queen of the South.
