DA are the No.1
Sunday, 28th Mar 2021DAFC and DADSC making East End Park a welcoming place for all fans.
Recently, Dunfermline Athletic took part in the 2021 Week of Action organised across Europe by the Centre for Access to football in Europe (CAFE), itself a partner of UEFA. The aim was to show progress towards achieving #TotalAccess for disabled fans at East End Park, and the match against Greenock Morton on 13 March was sponsored by CAFE and the Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters’ Club (DADSC), with a special ParsTV video and fans using social media to choose the Man of the Match (Scott Banks). The sponsorship money has been ringfenced by DAFC to improve facilities for disabled fans at East End Park.
Despite competition from dozens of clubs in over 20 countries across Europe, many with much greater resources than DAFC, we’re delighted that CAFE has chosen the Pars’ activities as the very first main story about the 2021 Week of Action on their website and social media outlets. Once again, DAFC and DADSC are punching well above our weight, and this shows our commitment to make East End Park a welcoming place for all fans.
