Chairman’s Christmas Message
Thursday, 24th Dec 2020I would like to wish all of our supporters and their families a Peaceful and Merry Christmas.
The holiday period will be different for all of us, and will present challenges for many this year. In addition, I am conscious of the fact that too many of our most loyal supporters have sadly passed away during this very difficult year. Their sad loss will be felt more than most over the coming days. Our very best and sincere wishes go to everyone in the Pars Family.
It is also at this time of year, when many families enjoy spending time together, reuniting from all around the world, and visiting East End Park for our festive matches. The absence of spectators will also be felt more than ever in the coming few days.
The strength of the Pars Family has been demonstrated yet again this year, and I continue to be humbled by people’s generosity, compassion and kindness. I genuinely believe that we will come out of the pandemic, stronger as a football club, as a beacon for our proud community. We hope to announce news in the next couple of weeks as to how our football club wishes to give something back to the local community, that continues to rally to help us.
The start of next year will be challenging but we need to remain positive about the future and stick together as a club, and a community, to support each other, as we have done in 2020. There are better days ahead of us, which will be all the richer for us when they arrive.
Thank you very much for your continued support it is greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing you all back inside East End Park as soon as we can.
COYP!
