Disability Access Officer Appointed
Wednesday, 28th Oct 2020Pars fan Graham Ross joins as the Disability Access Officer.
DAFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Ross as our Disability Access Officer. Graham takes up the role with immediate effect, following the sad loss of Kenny Cowan in August.
Pars fan Graham hails from Glenrothes and follows the team home and away with his young sons. He works for the Scottish Police Federation where a large part of his role is to look after and safeguard the well-being of officers who have varying degrees of disabilities to ensure they are being treated fairly in the workplace and that their individual needs are being met.
DAFC Director, Drew Main commented “Having advertised the post on the club website we were delighted to have received a number of applications for the volunteer position. Having spoken with all the candidates, Graham emerged as the person for the role. Not only is he well qualified for the position, but his passion for the club shone through and we’re sure Graham will be a fantastic DAO.
I’d like to thank everyone who expressed an interest in the position and also to DADSC Chair Dave Nugent who assisted with the recruitment process, offering valuable and constructive comments along the way”.
