Pars United Community Interest Company Statement

Statement by Dr Donald Adamson on behalf of Pars United Community Interest Company following today’s exciting news.

Pars United Community Interest Company (PUCIC) is the holding company of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Ltd.

The Board of PUCIC has been kept fully informed of the negotiations with DAFC Fussball GmbH throughout. The Board considers that the investment from DAFC Fussball GmbH is in the best interests of PUCIC, Dunfermline Athletic and the Club’s fans as a whole. The Board therefore warmly welcomes this strategic development and agrees to do all it can to ensure a smooth transition.

PUCIC will continue in its supervisory capacity until DAFC Fussball GmbH exercises its option, after which it will become an active and supportive minority shareholder in Dunfermline Athletic.

Note: The Board of PUCIC is appointed by the company’s shareholders. There are over thirty shareholders, the largest of whom is the Pars Supporters’ Trust.
